here is some slang i kept hearing in London, '2014.' Like Goerge Orwells's 1984 it gives a what if sinerio to the media giants. everything personalized nothing of substance. it is a direct result of ipods and wikipedia (user written) attitude. tell me what you think...

It makes it sound so serious. But seriously, I don't know how much to buy into. If that becomes a reality, we must not let it affect how we think. We must still be able to filter the shit from the reality. I find that we will have to take things with a grain of salt and not believe everything that EPIC will provide for us. As a teacher, this will become increasingly important as the minds of our youth are easily changed with media... So in two words, we're fucked.
let me start with our media has slowly become befunct for a while, its no mystery, the sunday editions have been shrinking and we hear "we could all be dead- more details at 9."
if you look at the impact of Wikipedia, user edited and littered with many, many mistakes yet people use it.. i use it, my bf uses it to prove his arguments. i guess i am worried b/c 2 things 1) our news industry is in very troubled waters, news papers are next to disappearing and its been gowing that way for quite a while, the he internet and 24 hr news both are sub par and often incorrect 2)have YOU ever believed a story/rumour with little or twisted fact, I have.
yeah, how about we get news to actually be news, instead of 'Britney drops baby' being the lead story on FOX....oh wait, it is FOX.....nevermind.
please 'Britney drops her baby' was on all the major news sations... just fox news incorperated it with Falmy Values. news sux now
